Welcome to the Team 2000 Web Site. Team 2000 is the yearbook staff at West Pictou District High in Nova Scotia, Canada.
We use this site as a reference tool to access all the information that the team must share. And since the majority of the
staff had access to the Internet, we thought, why not create this resource.
Some people don't quite understand the effort that is involed in creating a yearbook.
Of course, if you have ever been an editor or senior member of staff for a school
yearbook, you know the intense effort that consumes your life for the years involved.
Some schools are better than others, but I know at our school it is quite a chore.
However with the help of a good team this year, I hope to be an inspiration for
years to come in organization, teamwork, and end product.

Our Work
The 1999-2000 school year hasn't started yet, but we are already getting started
on what we hope will be the best yearbook our school has ever seen.
Hopefully we will be able to keep a record as to our progress here so everyone
can see how we are going about the time-consuming process of yearbook creation.
We have had several meetings already in the last while. We didn't plan to decide
on anything concrete, so we just tossed around some ideas for the improvement
of the book. Things like a "me page" and the addition of copy to most pages.
We want to capture the year in total, not just take pictures of it.
Anyone with ideas or comments, send them to one of the team members and they will
contact the group.
